Reasons for Seeking Election
I retired in March 2007 and have been interested in finding part-time opportunities that will be both worthwhile and interesting.
I like the fact that United Communities' market is both rural and agricultural because it aligns with my background, residence location and interest.
As Controller of Hawk Plastics and previously VP Finance of Belkraft International, a big part of my responsibilities were interacting with company bankers, lawyers and accountants, and preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for shareholders and other stakeholders.
I want to keep involved in business and especially the financial industry, and I have been impressed with the progress, profitability and overall professionalism of the Credit Union, and I look forward to being a part of it.
